The Rules
- Each participant will be assigned a recipient for whom they will craft something in the SCA art form of their choice. Each participant will receive their recipient's information shortly after sign up.
- Each participant will also be assigned to another participant as that person's recipient.
- Materials cost for the item created should not exceed $25 (use of "stash" materials is exempt and does not count towards costs).
- Delivery of the item created (note: delivery, not just crafting) must be completed on or before the date chosen for the Handoff.
- There will be three check-in deadlines during the exchange. Participants are required to check in with the secretary on or before those dates to confirm they are on track. Failure to communicate may result in suspension or banning from future exchanges at admin discretion.
- If your contact information changes during the exchange, you are responsible for updating the admin team.
- The deadline to withdraw from the exchange without penalty is the second check-in date. After that, completion is expected unless a severe personal emergency is communicated to the admins.
- In cases of last-minute project failure or other unpredictable factors, an extension of up to 4 weeks may be granted at admin discretion. If an extension is granted, your new deadline applies. Failure to deliver will result in being banned from future exchanges.
Participants must agree to all rules, meet check-in and delivery deadlines, keep contact information up to date, and communicate issues early.
